Live Music Venues
- The Castle Theatre is a good venue for people of various ages - would be good if more people supported it because Wellingborough hasn't got a lot going for it, and without the Castle it would be a lot worse
- Fire and Ice have original music bands, mainly along the indie side, but also the odd funk band or chemical brothers style stuff
- The Rock Room at the Horseshoe has some kick ass bands playing on Thursdays and Sundays!
- Victoria Center on the knox road. Live band galore. If your lucky and theres no-one at the bar, you can tilt the pool table to the side and the balls roll out.
- The George at wilby(just outside wellingborough has excellent live music a good four nights a week. The Deportees Club put on a monthly roots music night in the studio at the castle theatre featuring excellent local talent and fantastic(but often little known) headline acts you'd normally have to travel to london to see. for the Alt Country/Indie/Folk/soul/blues fan this night is a must. their first night with Martin Stephenson was quite possibly the best gig the town has ever seen. It normally sells out though, so get your tickets in advance to be sure. For the towns musicheads this is the place. their website is at www.thedeporteesclub.co.uk also check out the Rising Sun , The Victoria Centre and Decades(sometimes) for good stuff.
- The George Wilby. they hav good music sometimes neway
