- Big up the Red Lion All Saints way for food and Monday quiz, the Vine for food and the Wheatsheaf for Beer.
- Cheap and maybe cheerful is the Star & Garter, Goose & Granite and JDW Billiard Hall all at top end High Street. Further down High Street towards banks heading to Clock Tower of Carters Green you'll find the friendly Anchor, Hop pole, Wheatsheaf for Holdens, Old Hop Pole friendly real ale, Marksman for pool and bottled drinks(a Mr Q's) and Oddfellows. A wise detour for real ale and value pub curry/Indian food is the Old Crown Sandwell Rd past the Registery office.
