Buskers, Street Entertainers
  • the bloke who used to collect the trolleys in lo cost, before it was knocked down for safeway, beard, glasses - gormless
  • The mother in 'BREAD'- her late mum used to play the piano outside/near Safeway
  • the trani at the corner on dee lane:he's a laydeee
  • Look out for a grey bearded man wearing an illumenus yellow coat usually carrying a plastic bag(he's called bollock), and look out for a dangerous 14 yaer old lad called seddon(he's escpaed from a mental home)
  • i am a local character har har har
  • there's a weird tramp that's usually sleeping somewhere around the concourse..
  • Lots of old ladies who seem to know you a lot better than you know them and have clearly been stalking you for some time. Most of the decent 'characters' have either died or moved up in the world, a sursprising number that I know of having gone to Lincolnshire for some reason, such as the couple who used to own Newton Post Office when I still did my paper round there.
  • trimb rules
  • trimb
  • Does the guy who sells "The Big Issue" outside Safeways qualiify? Otherwise it's Rotary at Christmas time playing Carols through a PA system.
  • Go to St Bridgets or the beach and meet the moshers or top park and listen to bass from near by house
  • most people when they get out the pub, will be willing to entertain you in the street
  • I tried busking once in West Kirby train station, playing, well, what else but the recorder. With a mate (on the flute) we performed Christmas Carols, and I'd have to say it wasn't really worth the effort: we made about 12p.
  • will bailis - give this man a smoke and a drink and he'll sing 4 anyone.
