- Posh Nosh (aka the Nosherie) in Hamlet Court Road has just been done up & has the best cakes I've come across in the area. The chocolate cake and carrot cake are real top quality & the coffee is good too.
The Cliffs Pavilion is also nice for a coffee and cake but is usually full of old people who smell of urine. Also the staff are a bit 'military'. Don't let that put you off though, try their pecan triangle things that have chocolate on top. Yummy.
- Starbucks is the best cafe in southend bout 10 minute walk from westcliff, they have the best qualitie food, coffee's and milkshakes and is in the centre of town
- well that has to be the estuary cafe along the arches they produce the finest cheese & beans on toast i have ever had the privelage of tasting
