- The Hamlet. Nice little pub down Hamlet Court Road. Good food. Nice beer. Not loud. Not quiet. Good little boozer that!
- The Palace Theatre bar has now re-opened. The new owners forgot that it was not just theatre goers that went there - it is actually a nice quiet place to just drink in. Particularly in the little outside garden with the obscene statue that is now in the process of being covered in (the garden that is - I don't know where the statue has gone). We had to moan like hell to get them to put back the tables and chairs and they STILL don't serve crisps.
Another nice place to drink is the Cliffs Pavilion, all modern architecture and great sea views.
