Arts, crafts and such
  • I love the Brewers Quay area especially the workshops out the back who does handmade customised jigsaws.
  • If you want to learn to play guitar, see Mark at Guitar Studios in St Thomas Street, above Cobwebs internet cafe. This guy is great, he's been teaching for 20 years and is a fantastic teacher. I would steer clear of a guy called Andy Osborne tho, he has no qualifications and is a bit of a cowboy.
  • new art gallery on portland has some rare old warhol pics in it.brilliant.
  • Paz, weird and wonderful statues. wall hangings critters and differnt teenage gifts,Jewellery. specially body jewellery. cheap.
  • Paz 49 St. Marys Street. Some arty farty things.
  • Darryl Francis wicked furniture store!!
  • Sadly the only art is of the 'old-person-painting-of-the-harbour' variety. Where are the young artists? (They left town)
  • Brewers Quay sell lots of arty things that your mum will love
  • Brewers Key, also Passion and Pain the tattoo Studio because tattooing is an art.
  • COMPTONS! The ONLY art supplies shop in Weymouth it's a great shop, with really friendly staff. If you can't see what you want then ask it's often lurking in a draw, if not they can get most thing's in for you.
  • Weymouth is a cultural desert suggest you get the train to LOndon
  • BREWERS QUAY great for old people and others that care about that sort of stuff
  • craft line iz great for mad beads. Sew and so's good for fabric
  • Loads of Art and Craft stuff, but I dont visit 'em.
  • That cool art shop on avenue road has had the same stuff in for the past two years. Oh, and Craftline, which is run by beautiful Sandra and her mum, gats the bestest stuff ever in.
  • There's several antique/curio shops, any one of which will give you a map to find the others. Art and Crafts at Brewers Quay
  • Brewers Quay contains a lovely shopping centre with all sorts of art and craft shops. It's not too commercial, and quite relaxing to walk round of an afternoon
