Musical Instrument Shops and DJ Gear in Weymouth, Dorset*

Stockists of gear to make good sounds

You can tell us more about Weymouth.

Musical Instrument Shops and DJ Gear
  • There is two music shops by The Colwell Centre.
  • On 27th February 2007 it's Weymouth Music's 1st birthday, and my oh my how they've grown! If they stock any more stuff, there'll be no way of getting through the door. Rumour has it that if you whisper 'I love you, and your big organs' on their birthdy, you'll get a free gift.
  • Rock and Pop Guitars in Great George Street is under new ownership. The guy in charge now brings a refreshing air of professionalism and helpfulness to this previously dwindling shop.
  • 'Weymouth Music'in Great George St. is great ! Brill choice of instruments and friendly service.
  • The only ones that i can think Weymouth have to offer are Rock and Pop guitars and that one on the same street.
  • libary street has rubbish guitar shops
  • Rock and pop. The place that used to be lorelli
  • 'Weymouth Music' has just opened. They are really friendly and helpful! Owned by two of Weymouth's biggest businessmen - both are about 16 stone of fun-loving musical expertise! Good luck to them!
  • With the retirement of Phil, owner of Lorelei Music, Weymouth now has a brand new music shop, cleverly named 'Weymouth Music' (yawn!) run by two local musicians/teachers. Weymouth Music plans to offer everything from accordions to zithers, if they haven't got it, they'll get it! Bartering always welcome, no Chavs in groups of more than 2.
  • Harmony music specilises in all sorts of music but is only small and Rock and pop guitars but is crap
  • Rock N pop..buy a guitar and meet the comical legend John Storey
  • ROCK AND POP!!!
  • I have been a regular with lorelei music for years. Theyre not just another guitar shop, but cater for all types of musos. keyboards, digital pianos, saxs, flutes, clarinets, violins, etc etc. They also stock a huge range of sheet music, pops, classical, tutor, exam, etc etc.The guys there look like they've been around the block a few hundred times but they have years of band experience behind them so they know the score. cool place
  • Rock and Pop Guitars - Weymouth, Dorset. Now 2 shops with an Acoustic/PA and Drum shop addition since end of April. Guitar school with 3 excellent tutors. Over 250 guitars in stock. Visit www.rockandpopguitars.com - you know you want to!
  • rock and pop is great for advice on guitars and if your lucky you might meet the owner John Storey who is a legend. Dont buy his solo album if you can help it though.
  • Situated in great george street are THREE music shops, lorrilei music, and the other two are both owned by rock and pop guitars. the first of the rock and pop shop's is devotd to the sale of electric guitars and basses, the shop offers a fantastic range of instruments, eg electric guitars starting at 69 quid and basses at 99 quid. all the guitars come in all shapes and sizes and there is a huge range of quality names such as Gibson, esp, Tokai, Bc Rich, Peavy, Indie gutar co., cort, line 6, and a whole lot more. I myself being in a heavy rock band find this shop extremly useful as the choice of amps, effects units, pedals, leads, is extensive and high quality. the great thing about the shop is the expert help and advice the staff are there to give, which is really excellent, the same goes for the new rock and pop Acoustic shop! This new shop opened across the alley from the electric shop, recently and is just as high qulity in it's stock and accessories as it's next door neighbor! being a rock man myself, i am pleased to say that this shop caters for drummers as well, with a good sized range of drum heads, sticks and cymbals, featuring, Vic firth sticks, Paiste cymbals, And aqarian heads. There are five piece drum kits to order, and beginners kits fromm 110 quid, but it's main center of intrest is focused on acoustic guitars, i was amazed to find out that a full sized steel string acoustic will set you back a mere 59 quid!!, this shop really has some of the top brands of high quality acoustisc and electro acoustics featuring, tanglewood, Esp, crafter, walden, Ovation, takamine, fresh man, tokai, and the extremely high quality and rare Larive!! but it dosent end there, the acoustic shop even does portable p.a's!!! by peavy and Kustom!! you can find out more, see the new shop, order, and contact the shop on their web site www.rockandpopguitars.com The music shop lorrilei stocks a huge range of sheet music, beginers books, and keyboards! and you can vist their web site at www.lorrleimusic.com so it looks like Great george stree is the place to be if youra young or old musician needing what ever it is you need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • theres two instrument shops right next to each other near the colwell centre.
  • There is a Cazoo shop underneath the Nothe Fort. Knock three times and say the special phrase.
  • Rock and pop
  • loreli/one next door...almost like turf warfare!
  • Back alley of Delighlas club use the dustbins there a darn site better than what you find in the shops
  • erm lorelli iz good for saxophone stuff coz they order it for you. Nought wrong with rock n' pop though
  • Just a couple that you won't find anywhere in the world... Loreli music shop does a fountain of high quality musical instuments, but, the owner is a bit grumpy.
  • 2 Musical instrument shops fighting for your cash, both situated in Great George Street..next door to each other. Lorelei music(known as mickey mouse music to the locals in the know), and Rock & Pop music. As you can probably guess, mickey mouse music gets its name from its poor service and general lack of enthusiasm for music and musicians.
  • Considering the amount of live music in Weymouth, strangely only 2 shops, as already mentioned. Both pretty good.
  • Loreli and Rock & pop both pretty good, they're right next door to each other
