Pubs
- The information regarding the Harvest Home is not out of date. The pub was brought by new tennants Jne Acott and Chris Benton in early August 2005. There is now a "no dogs except guide dogs" policy implemented. The pub is lively (busy during Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunches and dinners). The menu now available is broad, well priced and of a fair size (the reputation for good food is now spreading). The pub welcomes and caters for families and has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- pubs well there are 9 at last count, the lively ones are red house, kings white hart ( if music on ) kings disco every fri not to bad , red house always seems to be busy, excellent restaurant but a bit over priced.harvest home ( otherwise known as the hare of the dog ) ok if venue on otherwise only few peeps in there, not a lively place. one place just outside to mention is the hurstbourne priors recently re vamped excellent food and lovely welcoming staff , railway hotel good food too.
- White Hart & Old Brewery not bad. Harvest Home have too many big dogs running around while your eating.
- The White Hart is the place to be. It's great.
- Whitchurch Sports & Social Club
This place includes the local Football, Squash & Bowls clubs. 2 large bar areas - 1 of which is available to hire by members and they now do reasonably priced food as well.
- My fave pub has to be the old brewery, it serves really good food at reasonable prices and I have never had a bad pint in there.
- The Red House
The White Hart Hotel
The Bell
The Kings Arms
The Harvest Home
Ye Old Brewery
- The Sports & Social Club - if you're a member. Reasonably priced beer and a function room for parties...mmmmm, nice!
- The White Hart is by far the best pub for a younger croud.
