- We are right next to the sea and minutes away from the lake district - what more could you ask for
- good crack good people (mostly)whole town has really improved over last 10 years apart from t kids just far enough away from the lakes so we dont get over run by crag rats (but look out they are coming)
- The Three Tuns or erm....anywhere that serves alcohol (except a few choice crap places) our private sitting place for summer sun drinking sessions
- i can't believe that you can be born and bred in whitehaven without having it in your blood. yeah so it's boring and old fashioned but the people who live there are second to none. i left whitehaven for "sunnier climes" a few years ago and i miss it every day. so wake up and stop whingeing there are worse places to live. As for USA boy, stay there and don't come back. you're not welcome anymore....la la la
- A WALK ON THE MARINA ON A SUMMERS DAY
- THE FACT THAT WE ARE GETTING AN ASDA SUPERMARKET AND WORKINGTON ARE'NT! HA!
- THE HARBOUR IS NOW OUT OF THIS WORLD ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT
- The whole atmosphere of the place. The whole....locaility of it. Its shit living in a city like perth (where i live...well...kinda) coz theres....Its difficult 2 explain. I just liked walking into town an d seeing EVERYONE ive ever known.lol.
- R.O.T. best band by far. Cornerstone have turned the corner (ha, ha,) Sweet Zombie Jesus are a gay band (check out Rogan)
- The best things in whitehaven are the castle park where i can sit with my freinds. The wetherspoons as it serves nice food and macdonalds,gallaghers.
- Getting wrecked and walking home in a MASSIVE whitey.
- Views of the mountains

- The harbourside development. At last Whitehaven's starting to regain some of its architectural and historical dignity.

- The harbour's quite nice and some of the non- townie pubs serve some good ale.
- harbour. kidzone. chatanooga. skate park. shops.mosher stall. WHSmiths. bonnars cafe. etc.
- THE HARBOUR IT IS VERY NICE NOW THEY HAVE DONE IT UP
- the safety aspect. there's nothing to worry about when out on the streets.
- all the folks of Whitehaven love their jam sarnies
- The staff from tesco's. They're so much better looking than those at safeways.

- The council have nicely installed loads of traffic lights on the way into whitehaven which are always on red, thus preventing you from ever having the misfortune of visiting the sad shops of whitehaven
- One of the best things about whitehaven is the countryside you have around you. Hills on one side and the sea on the other. During nice weather i would'nt want to be anywhere else.
- The best thing about Whitehaven is that it is so easy for underage-people to buy alcohol . The second best thing is that if you say you're Swedish , you don't have to bring any money with you when going to a pub .

- The town is full of alchoholics.

- Quiet. Abundant pubs. Whitehaven rugby league team. The women are quite attractive for a small town. Cheap. Good meals.
- I love living in Whitehaven.
- 6 Supermarkets, Safeway, Tesco, Co-op, Kwick save, Aldi and Iceland how much ore choice do you need
- The relaxed atmosphere
- It used to be a handfull of goodlooking busdrivers, and most of them are dead nice.
- great crack(gossip not hard drugs) the A595 the A66 any other road out
- People, Food, Nightlife, Seaside, Market, Harbour/ marina
- Its home, it always will be. Even though i don't live there any more. Town is good on Saturday nights when you want to get hammered.
- The best thing has to be the extensive collection of dead or dying jelly fish in the Queen's Dock.
- Best thing is the YMCA or Wm Low car park. But the rest of Whitehaven and the surroundings have nothing to offer.

- The girls are very pretty and wear very little on a Saturday night. Thursday nights before a Sellafield "Happy Friday" The Akash Tandoori. Milanos Pizza & Kebab shop.
