• The Whitehouse - The best place in town to watch the footy and get p1ssed at the same time!!!
• North is the place to go as the DJ from the Park now works there, and he plays the classic songs that made the Park awesome! Up Banana! Up Banana!
• whitehaven is to get a new club (bout time) not sure wher at tho but its with some of those from the park heard its opening sep
• RIP the Park, now it's shut, where can we go? Nowhere at all! As if i'm setting foot in Gallachers and Sennies is good but gets packed out towards the end of the night with all the older folk...although they might not get in now as the youth reclaim Sennies as their own, mwahahah! They shouldn't have shut the Park, it actually gave people somewhere to go at the weekend, granted they shouldn't have let people who were about 15 in but at least it was somewhere else to go.
• the clubs are pretty poor! i recently moved to liverpool and i never want to return to whitehaven! the nightlife can only be good if you stay away from all the chavs or the kells rugby team, which is pretty difficult!! baisicaly the no-hopers who have no ambitions and will stay in that town the rest of their silly lives! • I just recently ventured out in Whitehaven..Something i only normally do under force..Ie someones birthday whos determined that it really might be a good night!! Well sorry peeps it is not and as far as i can see unless there are some radical changes or public burnings of djs it anit going to change.After listening to come on ellien followed by grease lightening on a Saturday night out in Captain Sennys i could take no more and made my exit from this god forsaken place. The divide between Whitehaven and Workington is forever increasing..Whitehaven is behind the times and an awful night out..Workingtons pubs and clubs are far superior in everyway plus dare i say it beng a Whitehaven lass my self that the people are a hell of alot more friendlier...The only down side is the 30 quid return taxi fares.But in the light of wasting 50 quid on a crap night in Whitehaven..It worth making the effort to go to Workington instead.

• the best place to go in town is captin sennys. the clubs (galz, park) are a bit out of date.
• Park- spell it backwards and its spelt "KRAP"- which is exactly what it is. Go in there frm the age of 13 onwards and when you hit the big 18 ur too old to go in there if ur a female because all the lads simply go for the stupid underage tarts. The bar staff r really nice, especially Rachel, Emma and Jenny! Also the DJ downstairs, Mini, rules and plays good music... Upstairs is full of dirty smackheads waiting round the corner to stab u thousands of times wif Aids infected needles... And the bouncers- dont get me started- they are all sad tossers who are under investigation by the police because they are hated by all... Gallachers is the best spot to go, can b full of toothless old slags at times but its ok most of the time. Hoddy- the DJ upstairs is wicked, plays the best tunes!

• We go to gallaghers all the time and while the standard of the place for clubbing and drinking is shit we think it is the company that you keep that makes a night good or bad, in other words everyone that has complained get some new mates.
• the best clubs are the park night club, gallaghers and havana 69. the park is really big and full of young people with good music up and down stairs. gallaghers is better up stairs as the music is better and they have hip hop and rnb nights there but is is a bit smaller. Havana is cool there is an underground which is good and all the drinks are cheap and the staff are really nice.
• 10 pound for a taxi through to Fusion at Workington gets you at least 4 hours of shite trance music and loadsa Jameaters off their heads on diddlys.

• the park, total waste of time, i went 4 a change a couple of weeks ago and no why i'd not been 4 so long, total crap!!!! go to the hepodrome it maybe a bit of a tight fit as its the smallest nightclub in briton but at least its a good laugh.
• The Park Night Club is a good spot, it does have its down falls i.e. the art decor is straight from the early 70's ranging to the mid 90's, but overall can be a good night out... The DJ's are good, well there's some old guy who wears glasses and insists on playing steps but the other guy with spiky hair plays good stuff, upstairs is full of pill loving trance dancing junkies so if that’s your scene then get yourself up there... Pity about the under aged slags that walk about, would be at least 8/10 if the under aged would leave but as of now, 6/10 overall... Could do with a student night i.e. Friday nights and more themed nights instead of them 60's 70's 80's nights, what about dance night or Indy night???
• Park is a bit - under 22's. not bad if you wanna pick up - definately better than gallagers. Basically - stick to the pubs and wine bars. CLUBBING IS DEAD!!!!!!!
• Shadows was an awesome rock club until bloody Colin sold it!! The Park is Poo! Gallaghers rocks - and Craig Charles goes there!
• The Park is terrible. I cant handle it anymore. Only venture in the park if you have a video camera and some Semtex, so you can PROOVE it was you who done it.
• Go to the Park if you fancy pulling a bird that you know fine well you might have a pair of kegs at home older than she is, go to Gallagher's if you fancy a fight or pulling one of the many toothless hags that inhabit its shitty interior. Senny's is the best spot by far, go to the Strand and meet crazy Tony, barfly and potential serial killer.
• the park has its carpets cleaned every second week it has cleaners in every day it takes 2 days to clean up the customers mess just from a saturday night it is not the staff who are sick on the floor or piss up walls or shit on the floor before u gob off u should come in early and see it is not filthy or smelly and if u really dont like it dont bloody go there i personally prefer having somewhere to go that isnt filthy like the old (shite house) whitehouse

• The “park” has changed man, when I first started going out the music was always crap, upstairs was full of hardcore drug barons wanting to either stab you or shag you… its all changed now, the music is different, they’ve employed a new DJ downstairs who plays cool old tunes and all the new dance stuff, I was in and he even played some indie… that old guy was still there who has always DJ’d there with his glasses and all, sack him keep the new guy…

• The shite hole Park also known as 'school disco' is a total dive, if you wanna be knocked about by bouncers all night its the place to be, but lets face it i cant go to gallagers cos my mams in there!!!!!!!!!!
• Gallaghers, the ultimate in pig stys, full of pyschopath amateur rugby league players and women who would put Daisy the cow to shame. Outiders, avoid at all costs.
• The park is a complete dive. Gallachers and the Heapodrome play the best dance and 60s, 70s, 80s music in town. The smell emulating from the park (and its bouncers) is one of the same calibur as Osama Bin Laden's under-keks.
• The Park Nightclub in Whitehaven has a host Dj's that are realy too good for the place, the poor lads have to play cheese just to please the mupits like the one whos been slating Dj Chapple. I've heard him play some absolute wicked sets in the Park, including the back 2 back set he played at Liquid Nation in september. He also go's on about going to clubs around the country, I THINK NOT! the only place you've realy ever been is playschool!. All the Dj's in pulse are quality, they just need to get out of the park, good effort lads!.

• Whitehaven clubs are really nice,the Park nightclub especially.It has a really nice atmosphere and all the people are very nice to you.THE DOORMEN ARE ESPECIALLY NICE,UNLIKE NONE ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD.As for that bloke called JEZ,i have met him myself and he is a really nice bloke and does a lot of work for charity. It looks to me like a broken nose is not enough for some people!!!! Some people never learn.
• Now then, probably the biggest debate around...always! The nightclub scene is as with all small towns...crap I suggest a spin out with people close to you enjoying the town at night from up on the surrounding hills and venturing out into the surrounding countryside...and avoid town all together at a weekend. I venture into the park about once every six months and remember why i aint been sooner! Gallachers is worse..avoid it! You can either get locked up for shaggin a kid or knock off yer mates gran. Personally i'd do neither. You'll find me and my mates at a club somewhere in england (sheffield , liverpool , nottingham) but not 'down town' nuff said.
• The 'Park' is surely the biggest waste of time in anyone's life. It smells, its full of kids, its a rip off, and ALWAYS plays crap music! Instead, throw your money away at Gallachers....a great laugh. Full of old slappers, otherwise known as Crufts.

• The Park has a really good atmosphere. Friday nights are best (especially upstairs for house/trance) the DJ's are brilliant. Don't go in Gallachers or you'll never come out, your feet stick to the carpet!
• The PARK spelt backwards describes it perfectly. You just get herded like sheep. You go round 10 times and then go home. You never have a great night. Gallachers offers nights of fun with old tarts. If you want to drink all night then there is a lot to be said for silhouettes which is FREE to get in and doesn't close till you've all gone home.
• the park- when the collective IQ of all the bouncers gets to double figures perhaps the queing situation might improve otherwise anyone considering going in on a saturday night must resign themselves to twenty minutes standing in the rain- unless of course you are related to a local rugby league star (minor league)
• The Park employs a right queer looking glass collector upstairs on a Saturday night. He has wierd orange hair. You'll know him when you see him....... The Park is possibly the worst excuse for a nightclub in the country and is a disgusting filthy pit that should have been blown up along with most of the customers.

• The Park- £5 to get in? Considering one of the best clubs in Leeds, namely Majestyk, is only £6 to get in,the Park is ludicrously overpriced. The drink is expensive and after an hour you get the sinking feeling only being tied to a rock and going to the bottom of Waswater could achieve. A hellhole in all fairness. The bouncers are basically the local thugs drummed together, probably with no training whatsoever. The whole setup is a debacle. The music is pathetic- more akin to a kiddies party than what a clubber would expect- house or indie. The people are small-minded which is one of the worst things about the place- i'm a student and if I was to wear anything different to the usual tightfitting polyester shirts- I would be vilified. Tourists, a piece of advice- avoid this dive at all costs.
• The PARK nightclub has come a long way. A recent refurbishment has done wonders. It's mostly REALLY young people, althought that's not bad all the time :) Seriously, it's a great night out.
• The Park - full of kids. Rip off on Saturday nights where they won't let you in without trousers and shoes and charge a fiver... Draught beer is muck and bottles a rip off. Mainly the haunt of WKD drinkers.. Shadows - Decent if you want to carry on drinking thrrough the night/morning..

• Depends what you mean by a club.I go to the Haven club on Cleator Moor Road and its a good laugh. It's as close to a working men's club as i'd go. The Park is rubbish and i haven't been in there for years, though i doubt it has changed.
• Clubs are mostly for casuals, but "Heapadrome" (near Crosby's chip shop) has indie nights on Fridays. The Heapodrome is the best place on a Saturday as you can get in wearing anything, avoid the Park -- it's a shed.
