• solid beats is quite good. the owner is realy friendly and helps you out with anything you need. however the music solection is a bit varied and doesnt accommodate for any djs who like hip hop or garage.
• Thers only one place to go in whitehaven for cds n stuff n thats Tonys stall, he has everything, n if he dont have ask him for it, n it will be there a week later
• There's a new shop on Roper street dealing in old vinyl records.
• the best place to but cd's in whitehaven is a little shop next to unique sports, it sells all the really good and newest buzz, monrose, zone and maxim cd's.
• none really carlisle is ok but your best bet is barrow

• The rock stall ! On the market...I hope its still there.Sells tshirts and patches and shit and all wickid cd's for kinda cheap 2 !
• if you want the best records you can get them from beats working in the lonsdale centre in whitehaven. also woolworths and whs smiths is cool but you can order cds,tapes,and records.
• No decent record shops-have to go to Carlisle for a Virgin or HMV

• Not specifically a shop, but the market stall that sells music is the best place to pick up anything, ask him to get it, he gets it. nuff said. the price is right too :D
• Some stupid twerp on Whitehavens world famous market can buy your CD's off you when your desperate for cash, and then sell them for four times as much as he got them for. I hate him. He is a berk.
• WH Smiths because its easier to get away with theft.

• Whitehaven is quite possibly the worst town in the country for buying records- with WHSmith and Woolworths being the only places to buy them and the selection and the sheer 'mainstreamness' of the music available is nothing short of appalling.
