- near the train station it's rubbish!
- Yeah out La Chic (or is it called Vanilla now?) the DEATH GAP which is up on new road just paste the bus station and tesco's. And theres the leap of faith which is a roof to roof thing down on the street where the skateboard shop used to be (next to the flats)
- Yeah we got a skatepark behind Tesco
- aldi car park and the multistorey car park
- The skate park at the back of TESCO. Watch out for the bullies though. No one can see you getting your head kicked in round there.
- Skate outside La-chic ( next to vanilla) - ramps and sexy vamps
- safeway car park, clinic park. secret mini in st.Bees
- There is a skatepark just opened in 2001. usually full of towneys, but still there is some great tallent and smart skaters there. features include a halfpipe (soon to get a new one,) a spine, def box, fun box, 2 quarter pipes and a wall ride, the park isnt yet finished there are still things like rails and a few kickers to come (they should be hear by the end of the year 2k+1, if the council finds time to get of there fat backsides and do something!)

- they need a place for skateboarders - theydress so scrufy n ang about on tesco car park at night u cant miss them
- La Chic in the market place is the most common meet-up spot for skaters. The town has many cool spots:-

Safeways Loading Bay (as featured in Sidewalk Surfer-Ollie Todd BS 180 over rail gap)
Valley School- Rails
ye Olde Faithfull- Rail which U DONT get kicked off!!
Alley Loading Bay- featured in Sidewalk Surfer too.

- ON THE STEETS THE SAD B*!*ARDS
- there are a lot of places to skate in whitehaven if you are any good the ymca ramps have gone there is a smart halfpipe at millom
- YMCA: Small 3 foot high, 12 foot wide mini plus 4 foot quarter pipe. Also outdoor 24' wide mini (12 at 5' high, 12 at 4'). Tescos car-park totally rad: waxed curbs, islands, banks, drops etc.
