The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- Whittlesey station is under consideration for a new international Eurostar development. This is for the projected extension of the Channel Tunnel rail link to the North. It has the advantage of there being a huge area available for development; the ease of a link to Cambridge. A stop is necessary for this area of East Anglia and also Whittlesey is at the right point for replenishment of catering supplies from the main proposed contractors, Chris and Aidie at the Truck Stop
- The best entertainment in the town occurs late at night around about closing time! Whittlesey has the best selection of staggering drunks around. Best way to pass the time is to sit on the Buttercross and give them marks out of ten for staggering style, amount of sick produced, getting run over avoidance techniques and legging it away from the cops (not so much legging it but crawling it would perhaps be more accurate)!
