• local shandy drinker walking allegedly world champion sheepdog 3 years running goes by name of ? leckie a good crack and holder of dumper licence
• A new Town Events committee looks as if they will be having more street entertainment - mainly music and dancing in the Market Square. Wick Pipe Band runs summer shows every year and they are normally on a Wednesday each week.
• During the summer, there are live bands who play in the Market Square on a Saturday. The local pipe band also play on High Street during Pipe Band Week. The Lyth Art Society put on various visiting theatres and music in the Market Square as well.

• One of the main entertainers in Wick is Diddy Alexander, when you see him trying to make his way to the bar in Carters pub it really is hilarious!!

• Slevery Geordie is the main character, but Tin Whistle manie occasionaly puts in an appearance (that is when he's not rumoured to be dead)

• None, everybody knows everybody so most people would be to embarrassed to busk, and it's too cold usually. Except for the good old Wick Pipe Band who do stints in the Summer, and the Sally Army at Crimbo.
