You may have heard of xmas street in thurnscoe, at xmas we had a terrible fire on our street and sadly lost two children. We have now heard of quite a few fires in local areas and we have found that there is no help fire victims. Does anyone know the whereabouts of my old school friend Steven Antcliff. We were at Wickersley Comprehensive together 1985-1990 and lost touch around 1992. Previously from Sunnyside, he was last known to be living/working in Skegness around 1993 and maybe joined the army around this time. If anyone has any info please let me know.

In 1960, when I was just 16, I had a brief friendship with a girl who worked at a soft drinks factory in Wickersley.She lived in Maltby, her Maiden name was Ethel Watts and she married Terence Booth in 1961. I would be very interested to hear how their life developed and to perhaps exchange grand-children stories etc., If anyone knows of her present whereabouts.

just a note.Left Wickersley for Canada in 71.Many thing have changed but in Oct.99 I visited and went to the common and "Krueger Hill".still not changed.Wickersley is still home.
