- Oh my GOD!!! The beloved CO-OP has gone! It was emptied a month or two ago ending an 100 year era of old ladies grumbling round its slippery, cracked isles complaining that their pension (and pocket lint) just about covers the cube of lard in the 'reduced' section in the fridge and a bit of dry bread and how much better "Somerfields" is than the co-op etc etc blah blah. Well, I used to say, a bit of pocket lint never did anyone any harm, I say, during the war and that. The point is, the Co-op is now a CLOTHES SHOP! And not a lot of people know that...
- The only time you clothes shop in wickford is if you don't want to get pickpocketed in Basildon run over by boarders in southend or deafened by ruff mums in lakeside.

- I find it extreemly discriminating in Wickford. Nowhere can I purchase polka dot jumpsuits, stripy hula-hoop waisted pantaloons-not even a damn luxury-sponge de-luxe red nose! What sort of a town is this? Got something against clowns, have you?
