- Swans have bands her & there. Local outfits such as Hallion, Doll Set Tones, and Tony Rudd have played there recently.
- The Swan is starting to get bands now
- ye olde albion these days the little n large club. they want me to pay a tenna to get back in there though. i did pay alan from the albion 40 notes for £1 drinks for a year, he fiucked it up and closed the books, i still intend to not pay member ship for the next 3 months. plus dont get my £1 drinks anymore. but he has put leather settees in now. which is cooshd. give me a wooden bench anyday though.
- My friends have bands. I'm just not sure what they're called and where they rehearse. I have demos though!
- theres a couple of pubs that let some of the worst bands in the world play
- SWANS on WEDNESDAYS....nuff said! the night has been going since the late '80s apparently. It just R O C K S !!!! The best night around if you're into the Pink Toothbrush/Rage type of music...NO dance music here thank god! (the beer's quite cheap as well)
- Bar Plazma has a regular thurs evening live music spot,the standard is very high for a local venue,well worth a visit
- hip hop, adrians is bad wickford army go there for their tunes
- chelmsford i think is the nearest place 4 bands, brentwood has jordan marsh and the essex boys! they're cool :)

- The Swan pub plays rock music on wednesdays which used to be alright, but it has been frequented by twats. Oh and don't even think about wearing a chain or having a mohawk in wickford. the local gangs dont approve of things they dont understand
