  • OUTSIDE THE CO-OP STONEY LANE MUST BE UNDER 9 3/4 WITH AN ATTITUDE TOWARDS GENUINE SHOPPERS
  • the gardens by the guildhall is pretty gd spesh in the summer but the grass is weird nd prickly, otherwise the cat grounds or even the gallery above the swimming pool at the leisure centre if we get cold
  • Abbey Gardens avoid cathedral grounds unless you are a spoilt middle class brat.
  • In the cathedaral ground.....as its so packed its ahrd to find your mate so jsut say u will meet at THE GRAVESTONE its the big one right at the top of the path near the back entrance....my m8s we alwayz hang there but bware of the pikeyz and the tramps....one tramp came to me and showed me his jolly roger :S (btw it was a tatto, there alwayz drunk) lol
  • my house/smoking area at college (even if you dont smoke)
  • the arbour
  • The Buttercross. Where else???
  • the arbour! the best place in the world
  • The Cathedral Grounds, The Arbor.
  • good place to meet is the butter cross right in the middle of town, is perfect for people watching too
  • Meet at the fountain near the brooks shopping centre. Some chav has usually poured in washing up liquid which means the hunt for loose change at the bottom is even more exciting...
  • The cathedral Ground is where we hung out pre legal drinking age...residents range from about 7 to 70.
  • meet at the buttercross and head to the cat grounds.
  • River Park Skatepark. Thats it.
  • UNDER CANED CLOTHING. In their dungeons of doooooomm. Tom, the large owner, likes to whip youngsters in a kinky kind of way. I think thats why they called the place CANED clothing. Anyway, thats it, just pop in to caned and ask them about their sweaty dungeon. Treat yourself.....
  • you've gotta love the cat grounds in the summer evenings, all the hippies get their guitairs out and have a sing song, clutching their stolen stella's from their dad's. But beware of the older hippie girls, they are extremely scary people if you "forget" to pick up your rubbish when you leave.
  • A good place to go is a big archway opposite marks and spence its like a big archway, good for practicing little flips and stuff
  • A good Place to Hook up has got to be the Cathedral Grounds loads of cool People
  • the cat grounds...(cathedral grounds)..... gets very busy during the summer time especially around time of hat fair. good place to sit and smoke and generally chill...but beware of pigs..i saw someone get arrested yesterday...
  • Grounds of the Cathedral
  • Steps of the library on Jewry Street is the place for the alcoholic homeless. yay!
  • Errrm. No where really, I suppose there is the cat grounds and thats about it!!!!
  • Angel Gardens- More and more popular now that people discovered that they can see the police coming 5 minutes before they arrive.
  • The cat grounds. winch this is a wonderful place, especially if youre under 18 and cant get into pups, but still enjoy getting wrecked once in a while, or once a week..or every night. whatever this place is teeming at night and theres space for loads of people to sit around . the place also looks great cos there are big graves to sit on, and the cathedral is all lit up theres mainly grungy people here, but u do have to watch out for the townies who rampage once in a while. damn them. be careful here if u are in the habit of urinating on walls, i saw someone get pigged the other day for exactly that! ah well, its still a great place
  • the angel gardens or the wind tunnel round the back of the cathedral is cool for a fight club
  • St Catherine's Hill St Giles Hill The Watermeadows
  • must be da market, middlebrook st. young, underage girls have no trouble being picked up n given lotsa flowers; but it's not that good really!!! ROTTEN!!!!
  • Ive only recently grown out of spending many a happy evening up at the arbour with my 2 litres of white lightening and my cutters choice. Quality entertainment is always provided, either by residents / police complaining about the noise, or fights breaking out between lagered up youths. lovely stuff!
  • skate park - rec centre. buttercross in town, the catherderal grounds are a major hook up spot in the summer but almost solely occupied py hippies and goths, although there are a few other groups there, heaven help us cafe culture is hitting winchester so coffee shops are getting well popular for hook ps as well. for the younger more townie orrientated amongst us offies always do well, the ones in weeke seem popular, but don't go there coz thats relatively near my house and its bad enough already.
  • Like, Duh, The Cat Grounds.
  • try presto. great for viewing all those tasty wykehamists.pity about the accompanying hordes of swithunites. sociable rule - no food no sit. if that aint enuff to turn u away, the music is.
  • the arbour, i love it and we went there till we were 17 and probably will do again and again ha ha
  • The buttercross
  • A mirriad of opertunities in Winch, I've done em all, but I think we're all past that now!? Still if you are on the hunt, loiter outside an offie with the rest of them, then just follow the crowds, then a few years and litres of cheap cider(?) later, join us in the pubs!
  • Harestock shops is a place where people hang about & also the car park for the shops.Used to be good for BMX before they put the brick flower beds on the slope to the shop (back in the old days).
  • The Arbour - a large residential enclosed park - avoid if over 12
  • Garbett Road shops, if live in Winnall. And the Buttercross used to be a hang out for punks, then skins, then Bod with his rat, and only after that did the hippies move in.
  • The buttercross- where hippy type people meet up. The fountain by the Brooks centre, meeting place for many annoying young kids.
  • Many, generally the one-stop car park and The records office (round the back), records office has a nice backside grind up parallel to the main road and is normally well waxed low but needs more high up............
  • it has to be the butter cross, the cathedral grounds, abbey gardens, and nookey gardens-only good in tha summer mind, as gates are locked at sunset
