- Darryls Cafe, on the A591 ,up by the Train Station.Does huge Brekkies & is the earliest opening cafe in town at 8am! In fact its the only place to go in Windermere at this time of day!
- Cafe Med which recently opened near Lakeland Sheepskin Centre has lots of tasty treats and is beautifully decorated. It is also ideal for watching the world go by whilst sipping a huge mug of hot chocolate, (ideal for those not so dry days!) The staff are very friendly and helpful and are well known locally.
