  • Paul Shane lives down the road, supposedly. Gary Read used to be in some punk band that probably entered into battle of the bands or something. He is thought to haunt Wisbech still.

  • The town's most famous son is professional snooker player Joe Perry. Apart from that the town has mainly lived in the shadow of nearby Peterborough.
