- 1st Village Pizzeria - Wivenhoe Pizza place does some okay deals and delivers from Wivenhoe to Essex University, Elmstead, Brightlingsea and in between. Got some okay deals and they cover an area that Domino's in town do not.
Free delivery with all pizzas, if you're into the veggie one be warned they put too many aubergines on there. 01206 820888 open reasonable hours.

- Fishy Greens the famous Wivenhoe Chippy has recently changed management bringing a close to the fishy Green reign.The Green family not only ran the chippy but an empire comprising of Bartons the general store and relative Ken Greens fish market these two have also closed.But the fishy Greens will not die the family now run a flower stall outside the Co-op.
- The Tandoori Hut (I preferred it when it was 'The Country Cottage Tandoori' - but the food is still excellent and the staff are very friendly.
Dragon House Chinese on the avenue is OK - the Chip shop near the quay has improved recently - the chips are edible, but the opening hours are still a bit holistic.
