Pop by on a wednesday night and take a look around. Wednesday night is our social night and with Colchester United Ladies up there from this season on sundays, the first team/ reserves on saturdays the clubhouse will be open more and more often. All we need is a few more people to come up and join in. You dont even have to enjoy football.
Please note: WTFC is a members club so a membership joining fee of �5 is required. After that you will be entitled to many offers, and a chilled out, relaxed atmosphere of enjoyment.

I am currently buying a property in Wivenhoe and have been told by our environmental search of the existence of a landfill site near Bowes road/Rectory road. Does anybody know anything about this and if so does it cause a problem to the locals? Any info would be appreciated. As an Englishman living in Australia i still get a little homesick for the 'Old Dart'- football,pubs,the countryside....which brings me to Wivenhoe.I have been told that it is a lovely place & i would very much like to visit the village on my next trip to the U.K. As a lover of the old "Miss Marple"television series i am doubly interested in Wivenhoe for it's association with the great Joan Hicks on who i believe lived there for many years. Can anyone please tell me if Joan Hickson's final resting place is also in the village.If not,can anyone supply details as to the place she was buried.I would like to pay my respects to her if possible. My name is Hans Busik from germany, and I am looking for the family Thurgood. They used to live in a house called �Well Cottage�( I do not remember the name of the street). I stayed with the family in my summer holidays in �77,�78 and �79. The last thing I know is that they moved away in the 80s, and I lost contact since then. Does anybody know where they live now?
