• I was very surprised not to see the Riverside Restaurant listed in your restaurant guide. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Woodbridge. It always has atmosphere, the staff are attentive and the food is excellent at very reasonable prices - two courses for £15 and three for £20. This restaruant also has a cinema and they do 'dinner and film' for only £25.
• best sandwiches in suffolk form the "Sandwich shop on the thoroughfare, Woodbridge, can thoroughly recommend mexican chicken baguette
• if you go out in woodbridge you gotta go down the kebabby after, it's a woodbridge institution. when the pubs close up you'll get an extra hour's playtime by just hanging out outside the babby, laugh a minute - snogging, fighting and all that malarky. ask for a veggie kebab too that'll get 'em, nah actually it might even be on the menu now...best in the world!
• The Captain's Table just gets better and better.
• The Captain's Table is open again, and is now more than just a fish restaurant. My wife's been there 4 times, and this weekend (Jan 24 1999) we went with a foursome. Really interesting menu, very well cooked. A bit pricey, but a bit special, too.
• Best place to eat in Woodbridge is the Captain's Table. I especially recommend the Dover Sole.
• you suggested the captain's table, but that has just closed down.The riverside restaurant is quite good, seckford hall 2/3 miles towards ipswich is quite pleasant. the "spice bar" is in the thoroughfare, is a bar/restaurant that serves more of the spicy sort of food. VERY good. A very friendly place, I love it. Staff are extremely helpful. -situated opposite gobbit's yard in the thoroughfare.
