  I worked in Hoole Road hairdressers in the 70s I served as a apprentice there I was there 5 years then in the late 70s around 76 I moved to the hairdressers in Home Farm Rd and worked for Barbara Blackwell then went to Champions for 2 years and then emigarated to Canada in 1980 .I lived at 70 Home Farm Rd ,

  Hello Joan this is Barbs daughter a lady phoned me today who is concerned about her grandmother seems Harry has moved on some time ago.I tried to get in touch after we lost mum but he got rid of most of her personal stuff so I didnt have your address I did find an e-mail address and sent several e-mails but they came back to me. Mums funeral was very quiet as not a single customer attended. Had a
  lot of legal upset since lets just say HE is not the person you think he is. Hence the concerned family of his new lady friend they have been trying to trace us through the internet they told me you had posted a message on this site. I would like to let you know more but do not want to post it here. I hope you are fine mum thought a lot about you and always wished she could have visited you in Canada best wishes xx

  Yes Jimmy I do remember Mr Jones. I am 58 I went to woodchurch school from 61 till 67.I hung round with Plum Parma and David Edwards. The old school still looks the same, only now it is a mixed school isint it, when I was there ,there was a boys part and a girls part to the school

  Hi Jimmy . I just noticed your message I worked in the hairdressers in Hoole Rd in 1968 , I was the blonde all the boys used to look at through the window Joan was my name I often came to the co op to get some lunch .
