- the onli cinema in woolton recently closed down
- Here's where my update goes! Woolton Cinema no longer has a smoking section. They stopped that a few months ago, at the beginning of 2004 i think. It does, however, interrupt the film halfway through to sell ice-creams! Whilst this was common up until about 1990, Woolton cinema still does it - it's one of the things I love about it!
- Picture house rocks. Try rollin down that hill now thats fun
- Yo "Woolton Picture House" a classic cinema in private ownership. Oldest cinema in Liverpool (1925) still has smoking on the right and is like cinemas used to be before the multiplex crap arrived. God didn't bless the USA

- Woolton Cinema is a must. It is the oldest cinema in the North West. It's a one-screen cinema but shows all the top films. There's even a smoking section for you fag-ashes.
