  • chung ying garden(farrier street) v good chinesse
  • Shakeys always open......
  • take aways/fast food chains all on high street
  • Chicks , Shakeys , Roosters , Mcdonalds , Subway , Medi Chip Bar . Shake Shak Good For Milkshakes! a whole milkshake shop, amazzzinggg.
  • roosters chicks
  • Angel Chef - all you can eat chinese for a tenner cant go wrong there.
  • Depending on the meal you're after..post night out munchies, everyone in the vicinity of the town centre heads to dear old Shakeeys for some chips and cheese/naan and sauce etc etc... GOOD cheap eateries include Keystones,Puccinis Pizza Pasta for a good moderately priced italian,Lloyds Bar,Woolies breakfast!!
  • OOOOH excellent Chinese at the Angel Chef, Angel Place (former market). All you can eat freshly cooked dishes for £4.90 (lunch) £9.90 (dinner) - children £2.50 (l)and £5.00 (d). Excellent value, fantastic food!
  • subway...obviously...cool music, cool people, cool food. not mcdonalds..urgh. chav city unfortunately, overrun with teenage mothers. harsh i know, but true. takeaways - orient express and four seasons are great for chinese and owned by the same family.
  • The Purbani in the Tything is the best curry house in the city. Great Bindi Bhajee.
  • maccys, where else?
  • The Sebright Fish and Chip shop is the best by far. Shame he closed his Greek restaurant down.
  • Go see the Lannies girls!!
  • Shakeeys would be the obvious choice but for people who dont go out and head there at 230am,there are some nice places to eat, such as, Ask, service not so amazing but nice atmosphere, Nando's is delicious, very good value and service is exeptional, the new Thai Cuisine at the bottom of London Road...also a good choice!
  • dont make the mistake of visiting the new pizza hut...gross
  • New Chinese Buffet in Angel Place and Ostlers by the race course for top notch dining.
  • ASK italian: top notch and surprisingly cheap.
  • Mcdonalds where else wud u go its the best.
  • Always go to Deep Pan Pizza for pizzas, after much testing they have came out best for price and standard and quantity of pizza.
  • maky d's burger king which is crap
  • everything u cud possibly want! but no kfc. "ask" is nice for italian.
  • Nandos has just opened next to the Warner village cinema and serves great spicy chicken with unlimeted soft drinks.
  • woolworths cafe be there before 11:30 and get one of there brill brekkies
  • Most of the pubs in worcester have deteriated in terms of food as they are more interested in being saturday night cattle markets. The only 'pub' grub of any note is out of town at the Swan in Whittington though they charge more than the savoy and the waitressess are hired on the basis of their figure rather than their ability to use their brain or be good waitresses. The swan, like the Crown & Sandys in Ombersley, does have good food but are expensive and full of rugby players/insurance salesmen/car salesmen and other superficial tossers. Restaurants are varied. Browns is still the best in terms of quality but they are stuck in 1975 and turn their nose up if you don't wear a tie. Ostlers is consistently good but really cramped. Saffrons is a relaxed, easy going place to drink wine but the food is very dependent upon the chef. Chesters is great for veggie/mexican lunches - big portions. Cafe Rouge has crap waiting staff, the Singapore restaurant in friar street has remarkably rude staff, Il Pescatore is like Fawlty Towers on a bad day, Little Venice does great pizzas but the staff vary from idiots to comedians, ASK is clean and fresh but opposite the filthy end of Worcester and their toppings are tight, Eclat says it all, the Glass House tries hard but isn't quite there (and has a strange blue fungus effect on the ceiling), Valentinos is a typically unambitious and group-oriented chain, The recifying house has a massive menu which suggests that they never sell fresh food (come on - how much Wild Bore is sold in Worcester). Top picks - Chesters, Little Venice, Browns (wear a tie).
  • The two finest eateries this side of Bob Geldoff both exist in Worcester. Little Venice, home to many drunken revelries of celebration at the beginning of evenings out. Shakeey's, where it all ends at the end of the evening. Chips and Cheese! Tawa Fish!
  • there is an icecream parlor opened in angel place nr the bus station, the blokes in there are a bit grumpy but the pretzels and baguettes are cheap and v good!
  • If you want a fab indian meal minus the sticky carpet and fake plants, Moonson is top of the list for posh pilau!
  • Well, there is macdonalds but everyone knows about that. There is a lovely indian takaway called the Purbani. It is highly recommendable. There is a nice chineese takaway called four seasons and another called wok and roll in warndon villages. There is a nice greek resteraunt called l'aroma whoch is nice.
  • Tony Tsangs mmmm.....
  • loads!! we have 3 macdonalds!
  • Plenty of balti's and curry houses, especially in the Tything. Chester's for Mexican style food.
  • Like Italian? Try Little Venice or Ask. Posh nosh, King Charles or Ostlers near the race course.
  • ostlers have some cute totty working there. I recommend!
  • Monsoons (Opp Law Courts) for a superb curry !
  • There's a good restaurant by the Swan Theatre, Osslers? Or something.
  • Maccie d's its got some good staff shame about the food.......
  • doop doop doop doop doop doop (telephone noise) "Domino's Pizza". All theKebab Joints after a night in the clubs, and The Balti houses in The Tything.
  • Valentinos. Good Italian family run. Moderate prices and good humoured staff.
  • Heroes is now an american theme eating place. try l'aroma - greek cypriot; saffrons in new st - bistro; ostlers by the racecourse - bistro with a good atmosphere if there is a party of 4+.
  • Check out Frair Street.
  • Six Balti houses.
  • If shopping try Poppets for a sandwich or hot lunch. Smoking/Non and good prices - opposite Foregate St. Station, also most of the large stores have cafes, eg. Debenhams, Russel+Dorrell etc.
  • BJ's fish and chip shop, near Northwick!!!
  • Brown's Restaurant - Near main bridge - fancy & expensive Heroes - Friar St. - Reasonably priced - various styles including mexican Valentino's - Foregate St - has good reputation
  • Heroes if you want to impress. Lowesmoor Fish Bar for THE best chips in town, best food after a skinful and their Donner Rolls are second to none!
