You can tell us more about Worcester.
Cinemas
- Odeon is ok but a bit skanky. VUE is MUCH nicer! both cost about the same (which is too much...)
If you want to see a film it's worth the extra effort jumping on the train to Birmingham and going to the IMAX
- The Odeon (sometimes known as the O-dear) and VUE. VUE is the nicer looking cinema, but seems to show only Hollywood blockbusters, the Odeon is cheap and cheerful and tends to show a wider range of films. They lost their main selling point however when they split their huge screen into seperate ones.
- Vue more comfy seets etc but the Odeon is cheaper.
- vue is amazing, comfy seats, tasty food, huge screens, good films, but really expensive
odeon sucks ass
- Vue cinema
Odeon cinema
- Warner Village- or 'Vue' - is a hot little establishment. Still got that 'new' feeling, its so big and well done, poor little Odeon has been put to shame...!!
- Vue - Formerly Warner Bros. and Odeon.
- warner cinema- or should i say vue? plus the odeon which is borderline closin down i think i am the only one who goes there... and even i as there most loyal customer has turned to the dark side of vue now!
- The cinemas in Worcester are fantastic and offer a wide variety of world films.
- the vue, but cors the odeon if having ur shoes lost in trash n gum sounds fun then it may appeal to you!!
- Warner Bros (New, entrance is a bit too big but hey, what so?!)
Odeon (Old style, can remember when it was the bizz of worcester!)
- Support odeon, you know it wont be long before warner forces them to close down : (
- Warner Bros: Quality cinema - spacious, good screens, but fairly pricey
- Warner Village its good and only a few years old
- Warner is great, but pricey, and once the Odeon shut down they will have a monopoly on Worcester so the prices will become extortionate. Better that than the Odeon all the same.
- the warner village cinema is ok, but the odeon still has endearing features and memories!
- warner village is pretty new and nice. not too expensive. not always recent films. good food. nice seats.
- Two cinemas: Odean and Warner Village. Odeon seems to have a broader mix of films with more specialist ones from time to time - very seldom seen at the Warner Village which is more expensive but pretty plush.
- the best cinema is the odeon it is the original and the best! warner bros is crap and full of townies, and the odeon has better pop corn and it is cheaper (the pop corn and the tickets)the odeon does have one down point, the seating is crap! however the temp is always cool.
- There are 2 bowling alleys, one of them isn't even worth mentioning though.
Same goes for the cinemas, who in their right mmind would pay more to go to a worse cinema?
How does the Odeon stay open?
- The arms between the seats in the Warner Villages one go up. If you like that sort of thing.
- hmmmm... well yes its OK here. I say OK because it isn't exactly the best place in Britain. It has a cathederal, swans, umm and thats about it really. There is a good cinema but I am probably only saying that because I live in worcester. There is quite a lot of fit lads in Grammer school which are in like year 11.
- Warner Brothers Love Seats...an invention better than sliced bread.
- there are 2 cinemas 1 new one old. There isnt much for youths to do here its more of a tourist place showing off old cathedrals and churches not caring about young people!
- Odeon, except for the little blighters who get under your feet mouthing off too anyone in there way, thats Worcester 4 u!
- the new warner villages cinema is open now go there if you like good quality surround sound, comfy seats and if you're short cos the stadium seating is great!!!!!
- There's a new cinema coming soon, apparently. It better be good.
- The odeon is shit can't wait for the new place down sidbury!!!
- TEN PIN BOWLING IS SHIT I PREFER WESTSIDE BOWLING
- Bowling in St. Johns, odeon in forgate street (dated-avoid) half hour - 45 minute trip to the Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierly Hill for the best cinema about.
- i think they are building a new warners cinema on city walls road.
- The screens are smaller than a portable TV.
- The Odeon's been done up, probably one of the last ones in the country to get the treatment. Still crap tho'.
- odeon - just like sitting on a cheap flight 'plane seat without the expecation of something good at the end
- What is the point in this category? There is only one cinema!
- Travel for miles to somewhere else - this cinema just aint what it used to be.
- The Odeon's ok, nowt special...
- Odeon. Small and cramped.
- Only one cinema - Odeon (rip off monopoly)
- Odeon on Foregate Street - still smacks of the traditional cinema, but screens have been subdivided to make more of them, therefore tend to be small Ten-Pin bowling in St. Johns
