You can tell us more about Worcester.

Live Music Venues
  • Marrs bar, breeze for the D&B
  • Drummonds is probably the best live music venue, some great bands play there, including Medford (who I think have split up now) and my favourite - Blind Lemon. Always create a great atmosphere, Marrs Barr refuses to let Blind Lemon play there for some reason, maybe because they're better than his band - Skunky Funk or summat like that, what a stuck up arsehole
  • like birmingham?!
  • The Marrs Bar plays a variety of music, Huntigdon Hall tends to pander towards the Folk/MOR Market.
  • "marrs bar" jsut off the foregate opposite the odean (only place really)
  • Marrs bar...look out for good bands that get in occasionally.
  • MARRS BARR,THE GREEN MAN,THE DEERS LEAP,HUNTINGDON HALL
  • Huntingdon hall swan theatre
  • again the void/arts centre marrs bar
  • The void ! support your local bands teenagers Marrs bar
  • images marss barr tjs void
  • The Marrs Bar attracts bands from all over - Bowling For Soup have played there. Very cosy!
  • Marrs Bar has had some pretty cool bands play, the youngsters frequent 'the void' for up and coming local bands...i normally head to the birmingham acadamy for bigger gigs.
  • i will go to the void if i have to ie. if a mates mates band are playing!! Marrs Bar is cool... they host young new bands and more notorious bands..saw fred zeppellin there a while back. haven't spunge played there aswell?
  • Broken Record promotions puts on punk/ska/rockabilly ect gigs around the worcester area, inc. the marrs bar, void, paul pry ect. look out for them
  • Marrs Bar is def. the best place for live music, they have good & great bands, a jam night on Wed's (anyone can turn up and play), occasionally a soul all nighter and a SEXY Sound Engineer with dreads!!
  • The Potters Wheel opposite the Porcelain works do a good techno night every tuesday play good.
  • the blck cross, the void (mourning story playing there, (yay)) and errm the marrs bar, great place for quality music if u pik a gd nite, jam nite r pretty gud usually, look out for 'the murder of rosa luxembourg' u will like!
  • Marrs bar
  • The Marrs Bar have had some amazing bands like Bowling for Soup - Earthtone 9 - King Prawn - [spunge] - 4' Fingers and so on.
  • Marrs Bar, Apple Tree.
  • Huntington Hall ... saw Talon (Eagles Tribute Band here). Converted Church.
  • Marrs bar
  • The Void which is now at The Apple Tree, lowesmore - after that stop off at Gonzos. The Marrs bar can be good depends on the band. Birmingham academy is a fantastic venue for bigger bands.
  • Mars Bar for most, the Void for skaters.
  • People, the void isn't above The Crown pub any more it's held at the youth centre.
  • the only decent place must be gonzos. the void has been taken over by mini-moshers and is now held at the youth centre, so no more nipping down to the bar for some underage drinking
  • the marrs bar or the apple tree are the best in worcester
  • barrells has a good dj sat nites. courtyard does r'n'b on a sunday.
  • the Marrs Bar is the only worthy venue.
  • Don't even bother going to The Void (Ubove The Crown) on a saturday night, there's about 1000 people in a small room and a lot of angry people. Try Marrs Bar instead, it's a little more expensive than the void but it has considerably less dank, and has attracted such bands as [spunge], Bowling For Soup and The Damned.
  • London. New York. Not here. Actually, The Marrs Bar's a fun venue. Just NO big bands. Except the Levellers. And one time, I got covered in lard. Hmmm.
  • Pig`n`Drum, Lowesmore...good beer, friendly staff, good gaffa ...Great on a Friday nite if your sick of club music Apple Tree, "" "" "" "" attractive " over-run by achne though ..Good music ( & a bar maid to die 4 )
  • Gonzos..Small and Sweaty..it's great
  • Worcester is good for live music especially punk and metal. Venues like the void and the marrs bar do live music every week and man they get some good bands!
  • The Crown in Crown Passage often has gigs on a Saturday Night: they have a website but I can't remember what it is
  • Gonzos, can't really b bothered 2 walk 2 lowesmoor tho.
  • upstairs@the crown in crown passage live metal and punk bands what more do you want oh yeah they also sell manky beer!!!! the marrs bar plent yof live bands for all tastes plus the added bonus of selling good beer!!!!
  • There's Gonzo's... But there's not likely to be anyone good playing there. There used to be bands at the Kings Head too, there may still be.
  • The void above crown but the marrs bar has widest range of stuff with some fine bands every so often!
  • In Worcester?! The Void is best aVoided! haha! unless you are a member of marilyn mansons fan club!
  • The Void above the Crown does a good line in Punk/Metal/Hardcore - Not for the faint hearted
  • The Northwick when it opens, and chicago rock....most pubs do have live gigs though
  • Gonzos is a great place to get shit faced.
  • None, Northwick shut ages ago. The King's Head sometimes.
  • 'The Stage' is now called 'Gonzos'
  • Cyclarama
  • Northwick
  • The Stage
  • The Northwick was great - but I think it's shut down. The Stage has a few good nights
  • Outside the Town hall (or are they buskers?)
  • Chicago Rock Cafe - Has regular tribute band evenings on Wednesdays
  • The Stage has closed down ages ago, no-one knows if it's ever going to reopen
