  • Victoria Square... little kiddies on their boards and BMX's making a noise thinking they're hard.
  • Canch as long as you can fight the SMACKEADS.
  • skate spots, oh ive heard of this place just outside worksop where you can skate and not get scorched by the rozzers, its called sheffield. seriously, theres a tiny area in shireoaks between a train line and the chesterfield cannal, but the tarmac has cracked now, and glass litters the area.

  • there is anew ish skatepark down near the canch there is a fairly steep bank a very small drive way a quater and a mini ramp (small half pipe) for pictures see skateworksop.com and all the skaters in worksop enjoi!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • gateford school is a good spot its flat there is 4 sets of staires 3 3 steps and a large 6 step there is a flat bank too a few benchs to slide
  • Children Skateboarders use Ashes park avenue estate.. left over building materials make great ramps for the kids..
  • The new halfords car park seems like a good spot, I haven't had the chance to try it yet though.
  • We used to have a half pipe, on the canch a wile back when i was a kid early 90's but the council tore it down beacuse they couldnt afford to run it. How can u not afford to keep a half pipe running, its not like you have to keep putting 50p in the meter to power it. Its a piece of metal that is held up. We need another skate park, and you can put it behind the bowling greens, accross from the cattle market car park, near those two bridges. Nicely sloped, loads a room, great fun. Or is that asking too much Joe Ashton! I have lived here 15 years and in that time nothing has been done to improve the town in any way, and then they wonder why there is so much crime, its because the kids have nowhere to go nothing to do, and so they have to turn to crime. This wouldn't have happened if the council had took action all those years ago. Quote me on this!
  • B and Q carpark, well where else. Retford hardly!
  • B&Q Car park is the place to be. Around 5-30 to 6-00 is when everyone skates. Valley school is where most of the townies hang around but it's good to skate and also Hartland school. The train station is ok when it's wet. Apart from these places it's totally shit to skate. It's far better to go to another town.
