  • Every Wed,Fri and sat we have a competition for which illegal Market vehicle can Skittle the mostr pedestrians over. The even starts around 7am with a reduction in activity during the day up until time for the Market traders and Council to pack away when chaos takes over and Ambulances are stretchering the skittles away in bulk.
  • whats sport again?! people in worksop dont do exercise!!! well unless it counts when you're being chased down bridge street on hot persuit from a copper after nicking stuff!
  • Just knocking down our one sports centre and about time lets hope the new one saves us traveling to Mansfield to go swimming.

  • For a good game of football or a spot of chav spotting/hunting visit the canch down near worksop library(yes we do have one but most people probably only see it when visiting the classiest of all supermarkets - NETTO or farmfoods)
  • worksop town f.club, bassetlaw leisure centre is good for bowls and snooker
  • Local football teams beware. Nottinghamshire County council has put outline planning permission to build on Football Pitches off Valley Road Voice your opinions now or loose the facility.
  • You have the pub teams, and are better to watch, etc. It's a real game unlike the so called professional version, plus I know people who actually play in pub teams. It's a lot better than some rubbish called The Premiership.
  • Valley swimming pool was an out of date shithole 25 years ago. Keep of the fields unless you have done a dog shit and needle sweep beforhand.
  • Worksop Rugby Union Football Club is on Stubbing Lane and the season runs from September to May (training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and through the summer if you're daft enough!). So just turn up if you think you're HARD enough! We are also well known for our social events! Give us a try, any age from 6 to 60+ years, you will be made very welcome!
  • Tigers promise to be a good team with financial backing and all, shame about the manager and recent results.

  • The all new shiny and dazzling Worksop Sharks RLFC, this is our first season and we think we will do well, if you think you are hard enough to play then come down to the rugby union club where we train and try us out, mondays @7pm. I Dare you
  • Worksop gymnastics club! u gota be in it 2 c it! itz a fab club where we travel rnd england recently we won best use of colour at the ministrada in l'pool n we also tuk part in the tvl at middlesbrough!
