The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else

- Egyptian Dance classes with Katie Holland. Weds 6.15-improvers. 7.30-beginners. Holy Trinity Church, Gratwicke Rd.
Childrens class-monds 5.45pm
- Unbelieveably, the World Bowels Championship is held here every fours years. Yeah, in fucking worthing. But worthing has this kinda uptown image when viewed from the exterior, its when you get into its underbelly you see the real truth. Kinda like the opening scene from David Lynch's Blue Velvet, there's a stinking rot underneath it all.
- A place so bad, I moved to New Jersey!!!!
- Someone once said that the only sign of life in Worthing is the smoke coming from the chimney at the crematorium. Well, there much more life than that but it needs a bit of smoking out.
- A better cinema, more shops for 'individuals' (just like everyone else muhahaha, sad joke)
- Thre is a realy friendly body piercing shop called Flux in west buildings
- I have found a great Yoga place - so close to the seafront you can hear the gulls - it's on Marine Place, just behind the Dome and is run by Cathy - who learns from Iyengar (tha master) himself.
Fantastic!
- worthing is alright if you know people there of have some lingering affection for the place, but probably not remarkable to a newcomer.
- Has a shop which sells bongs and loads of other tobbacco related products called Bongchuffer which was supported by the local paper. Might be getting a porn shop opening soon.
- How long it took people to escape the place.
Reasons why they left
Could sell this information back to the town planners so they can ignore like they've done for the last 30 years
- Keith Emerson of Emerson Lake and Palmer fame was a pupil at Tarring school.
- Get down to Woodside Road....Worthing Football Club........cheap beer and good locals.
- I'll come back later, good site.
- Wobbley bits can be seen by the pier in the summer time.... unfortunately the local council and elderly residents do not like naked breasts so an afternoons entertainment can be had watching them interfere in a common pastime.
- There are a lot of Funeral Directors in Worthing
- You may think that Worthing is full of old people and you'd be right. They get in the way an awful lot and witter on about how old they are, how things were different when they were young and how they knew this place when it was all just fields. Unfortunately some of them have cars but no ability to operate their brains (or bladders probably) which can make crossing the road a bit interesting.
