• 1st Yateley Beer Festival - Febuary 24th/25th/26th
• its nice and quite not far from london or the coast. plenty of green open spaces
• Nice people,
• Leaving, Visiting Eversley, realising that not all places are as bad as Yateley.

• Waitrose in Yateley is a really nice, clean, well run supermarket. However, at weekends it does seem to be staffed mainly by sixth formers.

• Christmas reunions down the pub after everyone has been away for years. Yateley School - you'll miss it when your gone. The bus to Camberley to get to Rock Box.

• im still serching apprently Yateley in latin means the gate in the field well there isnt many fields and if there was a gate it would be broken by pikies or 4X4 land rovers

• The best things about yateley was the carnival that used to happen every year. it must have been about 5 years since the last one! i remember the lions with their money pots and the brass band playin and the fair rides on the june afternoons they were the days.now we get the mayfair with about 20 stalls and 1 bouncy castle! shame really.
• Yateley M.O.T. Centre - a nice professional garage that doesn't intimidate, and mechanics that know what they are talking about.

• The man who runs around shouting 'LEAVE THE BINS ALONE!' Apparently someone threw a milk bottle at his car once.
• yateley green, kfc, the common, wyndhams pool. It's not too near that concrete london overspill deathtrap called bracknell!. Near to camberley and Reading.
• Being old enough to get served in the pubs so you can escape the incredible boredom of The Green... Wyndhams and Horse-Shoe Lake are nice for walking... or whatever !
• Wyndoms pool and the common
• Yateley Lakes, half-a-mile north of the town are great for walking in the summer, and actually quite scenic. Yateley Common (Hampshire's largest area of heathland) is good for cycling, with a few large pools dotted throughout the woodland). Oh, and the road out of town too.....
• Not living there.
• The Green and the alleys. Yateley is full of alleys and paths. Great for escaping the fuzz.
