• the famous actress googy wihters once lived at yateley cottage, eversley lane. i don't know when this was. googy entertained famous american and british actors at the house and her famous friends would be taken to the chequers inn, everley for drinks. googy withers retired to austrailia some years ago. if she is still alive she would be in her late 80's or early 90's. check it out on google.
• The park next to Poet's. Good times. Good times. Red Cross Hut.
• dog & partridge - quality young ladys go their, quite a few honey, good nights are thursday to saturday
• yatley is just 1 big houseing estate. The only good place to hang out (unless ur a bit pikey) is ur mate houses. But the white lion sells nice food, possibly the only pub i would go to.
• Down da green mush hav just moved away 6 months ago n u do miss da place even tho u wudnt think it! Or the Scouty either way i miss you all
• Outside Yateley library...Yateley kids are so cool!!
• Yateley(greatly) is the worst place to do stuff at night unless u wanna be killed. A godd place is this little areas where we can all go for brew. THe school is a good place to get drunk but make friends with the cartaker first

• Wu-Shu Lake, or to those less fortunate Horse-shoe lake is a fantastic spot for sitting under the stars, chatting with ur mates....and smoking a BIG PHAT BIFTA. Come join us we'll welcome all of u,well except maybe police, but..exceptions can be made;)

• Hmmm. Anyone with the option generally chooses to hook up somewhere that's not actually in Yateley. For those with no choice however, there's always outside KFC or the video store, where those with nothing better to do can loiter, share the same cigarette, and shout abuse at passers-by (from a safe distance of course).
• I just wanted to add that a another popular spot in Yateley is the scout hut, and the fields and common that back on to it, another popular hangout for reckless teenagers! Many a police van can be seen up there on a friday nite. Andto point out the skateboard ramp in sandhurst is called the wreck!
• Was always "down the green" (and that's down - I always agreed with that). In those days you had ample opportunity to graffiti those odd "climb-through" heaxagon things and throw stones in the pond when people were fishing..
• Yateleley is a pretty boring village to live in as the best thing to do is hang around KFC or the green. The only good thing about it is that you live close to all your friends.

• I'd say its still the Green... oh and KFC of course. There is a little wooded area opposite the green (over the Reading Road) where I have in the past stummbled over an array of "interesting" mags and empty cans etc... i'd say the teenage lads 'hang out' here, in ever sense of the word!
• moved away from here about 10 years ago after my dad passed away. 'the green' was a noted hang-out. also the shops at the bottom of aylesham way. many a night sat on top of the telephone box dreaming of rock-stardom. some great pedesrian ramps there for bike trix!!!!
• As a sad and forlorn thirtysomething from the Midlands having recently moved 'dairn sarf', I have to say that I have noticed an unnatural gravitation of mouthy (from a good, safe 100 metres away), spotty little oiks around the KFC on Yateley's Reading Road. Quite what the attraction is I really don't know, and perhaps they are getting high on the lingering odour of Bargain Buckets and chicken nuggets. Everyone here above the age of three appears to have a mobile phone (and that's not an exaggeration), and local hang-outs appear to be in short supply for the local youth. It's another one of those south-eastern villages that's rapidly developed from a village into a town of over 15,000 people but has'nt built to infrastructure to support the population, and there's not much for these kids to do and it there is very little character to the place.

• Anyone who's anyone knows by the age of 14 that you have to go "down the green" (or up the green, which caused numerous arguments amongst friends!!) It was THE place to be seen on a Friday night!!
