• Poets Corner - Formerley the Lanes, Formerley the Montegale Arms, is now Formlery Poets Corner, its now called the Highwaysman
• Poet's Corner was my local. We also went to the Dog and The Cricketers. But Poet's was the best, until the "fresh faced" crowd started coming in. The best staff ever...Naz, Blaine, Dave and Shonny, Dave and Dawn, Caset and Mark (although thats going back around 6 years!!). I don't think there'll be space for all the regulars though.
• Dog & Partridge - Pool Table, Dart Board, Board Games, Juke Box, Live Bands, Accomindations, Regaualar Beer Festvial - Febuary 24th/25th/26th, Good Beers, Good Night Out, quite a few young go their, monster raving looney have gone, no more old men their any more
• pubs in yatley are bad, white lions ok, if u want my advice go to camberley.
• Poets...now a pikey pub!! The Oak, s**t and expensive. D&P...old mans pub. White Lion (also known as the s****e lion). Best bet is to go to Camberley really

• The White Lion - 'controversial' pub sign displaying a lion covered in what we can assume is snow. The Royal Oak - now has a dancing pole. Can anyone tell me if the Utopia bus is still in service from the Oak? The Poet's Corner (formerly The Lanes and The Monteagle Arms) - seems to change hands quite regularly. Why could this be?
• Well the most young persons poular pub would be the oak, most poular probably on a friday nite, as thursdays kareoke!!( I like that though) Then you have the white lion just been re- done out. Poets corner formerly monteagle arms ( ahh)Then you have a few others including the anchor- hmm. so yateley is short of a lot of things but not pubs!
• Having drunk in the Royal Oak for years until such time as the landlords elsewhere would permit me, I would say that if you "look youthful" it's the best place to try. Other than that, don't bother to be frank - more entertaining to get drunk at home
• The White Lion pub appears DAMAGED, possibly because someone has sprayed Salad Cream all over the picture of a cow therein.
• The Lion is having a refurb and i've had about as much as i can take of the Oak being full of anyone who's ever been to Yateley school so they had better hurry up and finish it!

• Believe it or not the White Lion is undergoing a refurb !!! I forsee a vast improvement. Oh, and i've recently put the memory of the "Arms" behind me and ventured back into Poets Corner ... not bad. The D + P has been taken over by The Monster Raving Loony Party, nuff said. Quite entertaining though.

• Thought a quick update was needed, seeing as "The Lanes" (as once frequented by as many teachers as ex-pupils) has changed names, and is now commonly known as "The Monty", although it's officail name is now "Poet's Corner"!! And let's not forget the Anchor, a small but extremely friendly pub! They used to do Karaoke, but that's all stopped now!! I think the neighbours compained!
• The White Lion, The Royal Oak, The Dog and Partridge, The Lanes, The Cricketers, The Red Lion, and The Tythings Cricket Pavillion Bar. Bog standard pubs.
