Skateboarding Spots
  • one u tube skateboard ramp on the main green supplied by a council that thought it was doing the youth a favour. if you go to sandhurst anearby village there is a much better one
  • when i first came to yatley there apperes to be shit alll spots but look deeper and you will find, yateley school- big stiar sets, samll 7 set handrail, long 20m rail but crap run up and hight, there a roof drop to a slight tarnison aswwell. simons-a bank and little ledge drop pointless to do unless you skate board, BUT there is a massive drop handrail round either side of the building the green-terriable halfpipe, 2 and 3 sets nearby for skateboarders buisenss park- this place is cool only on weekends, roof drop, long skateable curbs and a wee little hedge gap, are some square high rails but need a ramp to skate them, waitrose-loads of curbs and peole usally, but soem weaisthigh rails, and a 6ft drop from the road to carpark
  • Yateley School campus...loadsa steps, curbs and hand rails for tricks, quite cool really.
  • I know a skateboard spot right near sandhurst park.
  • Yaeley has to be the worst place to skate. THe ramp on the green is made of metal and splippery like hell and the coping has been welded on several times. The school is good because weve invested in a block from the site nxt door. The strange thing is the police are more concerened with us skating that townies plastering the pavements with spit.
  • There is a skatebord ramp on the green where everyone hangs out.
  • half-pipe down 'the green' on reading road.
  • Any A-road, B-road, pavement or lengthy strip of concrete available. There's a skate-park type thing in Sandhurst, a couple of miles away (on the large green opposite the Rackstraw Beefeater).
  • On the green next to the kids playground At the back of the Harpton Shopping Parade Any of the back streets and pavements.
