  • Ernie Roys small electrical shop in Patrick Pool. Got many a dozen Pop-ex singles from there.
  • The Stonebow building in York is usually criticised by ignorant sentimentlaists who want York to remain entirely mediaeval. It is an interesting and functional piece of architecture. Learn to appreciate it!
  • My local pub.
  • the minster. pritty fucking ace. you can see it from everywhere almost
  • York Minster (especially at night)
  • St Williams College is a lovely medieval building by the Minster - you can relax on the green opposite and be tempted by the gifts and trinkets Shiva the wonderful shop opposite.
  • The Minster is more beautiful than the Notre Dame, as I told every Frenchman I met in Paris.
  • The Norwich union building
  • Cliffords Tower!
  • The Minster
  • The Minster
  • the minster
  • Margaret Clitheroe's house. Always cheers me up.
  • The Minster
  • there's a tower on the foss, you can see it if you go across from the stonebow, it's a very cinematic spot, especially in winter, when it's raining, and the sky "blues" early.
  • hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm its gotta be the minster
  • Minster

  • Has to be the minster, but the whole city is littered with amazing constructions such as: Cliffords tower, the walls, the shambles, all the bars (as in gates at the end of roads), castle howard is nearby (where brideshead revisited was filmed).
  • The Minster is the most beautiful building in the world. If you're into architecture you can always go and have a cup of coffee on the top floor of Borders book shop.
  • Cliffords Tower lying down outside beneath the east bit of the minster so as it looks like a star destroyer 73 Monkgate - a place of pilgrimage for all
  • The minster
  • C AND A CAR PARK/ GET GREAT CHASES OF SUCURITY GUARDS
  • There are many beautiful buildings in the city, just take a look in the Shambles, very historic and all that. Clifford's tower is nice when it's not flooded with tourists.
  • Minster. Very old but seriously cool. Shame about the scaffolding though.
  • The little church building off Goodramgate. If you can find it - a fine spot to spend some time getting out of it in your lunch hour.
  • brubakers pub
  • There are too many!!!. York Minster is the most overpowering piece of architechture in the city. Try climbing up the tower (not recommended for those with a weak heart), or exploring its depths to see the Roman foundations etc. Take a look at the city walls themselves, and the walls of St Mary's Abbey. Look at the Roman corner tower in the grounds of St Mary's next to the library. Look inside all the small churches within the city walls.
  • The Minster really is stupendous.
