- yep defo bulley at school
- For your information, Mayhem Boardstore is no longer at 7 Jubbergate. They have moved to 46 Goodramgate, a much bigger store on 2 floors selling a greatrange of skateboards (40 to 50 decks always in stock) as well as accessories for skateboarding and they are also the only dedicated snowboard store in york with a wide range of boards boots and binding for men and women
- shops, basically mayhem, as the other shop (exit) are only selling clothes now.... a shame really
- Exit, Mayhem. minor selection but not too bad, really expensive. If possible go somewhere else.
- exit near fibbers
mayhem near the market and near the fontain
- Dont go to no-limits, the guy doesnt know waht hes on about. I would've said mayhem but theyre all twats now that the o.g crew has got, proper jobs/hooked on drugs/gf's/started uni, just stick with exit, helpful and got te ebst shit, good sales too.
- Arc on Colliergate but it may be shutting down, also Exit on the same street for over priced wired stuff and also The EvilEye (also a bar and cafe now) on Stonegate.
- Freespirit, exit, mayhem, o'neil and that 1 near the minster
- mayhem-better. exit-griptape=shit
- MAYHEM SKATE STORE there is a exit in the town as well there both good but exit is more for clothes and hats than skate gear
- freespirit across the road from guildhall
- mayhem rules, exit is rad,
- Exit just off the stonebow, Mayhem is a little trickier to find, if you go to parlianment street fountain, there's like a market in between o' briens and pret a manger, go up there and its on ur left.
- No Limits is the first and only Extreme sports accessories shop in Selby.
www.nolimits-shop.co.uk , gary@nolimits-shop.co.uk , 01757 701754
- well, York is pretty shit cuz its a rip off, but Mayhem or Exit is good

- free spirit ( though it's dead expensive and a bit sterile kinda thing), mayhem is better
- exit, mayhem however you could go get a jigsaw, some mdf and then get some trux, etc and make ur own custom 1
- THE best shops r skater shops.Mayhem rulz.
- Mayhem and Exit are the best
- Mayhem, 7 jubbergate nuff said http://mayhemboardstore.com
- free spirit but this place is very pricey
- Mayhem (near the fountain, head towards the market and ask someone with a board where it is) exit er.... you'll have to ask for directions
- inline skates
- exit+ mayhem
- Ok for all the gnarlers theres barbican banks, steep banks that Dan Cates nose picked (it has to be seen to be believed!) theyre round the side of the barbican (DUHHH). Companthorpe mini is such an improvement on the new shitswick one. BT banks are good but hard to find(one of those locals only spots). Argos is cool 14 and 7 step handrail and a set of 4. try the new ledges next to cliffords tower the circular block is just over the road its got sum 'curvy benches' too! The university is very good with just about evrything. Ok thats it Word out tothe york crew, Loz, rich, Russ, Munger, Rob and evryone else whove put up with this shite city.
P.S. dont shop in Exit cos its full of sell outs go to mayhem cos they know what they are on about (trust me!)
- Castle Mills skatepark has closed from the 4th of June! They are going to move it to FOSSGATE underground carpark near SAINSBURYS which will be a lot better as there are no pigeons shitting on your head. 2 new spots have appeared in York both near CLIFFORDS TOWER some nice blocks(very smooth and skateable) and over the road next to the river a 1-foot high circular block (Very cool)check out the University, and round the carpark at the rear of the museum gardens for really really good rails about 1/2 foot high (can be hard to find as is behind some houses just ask for directions)keep it real, up the York massive!!!!!
- -MAYHEM- 7 Jubbergate. york (in the market area)
- MAHEM AND EXIT,GREAT
- Haxby - Outside the Co-op & Threshers in the village centre: where middleclas deliquents(?) in designer gear hang around in large groups trying to look hard!
- ARK - just off King's Square, ok not as good as Mayhem, but worth a visit
- There is a good Skate, Surf & snow shop called Mayhem Situated Close to the Newgate market
- Mayhem for all your skate board requirements and if you snowboard you won't find a better place North of Nottingham. Really friendly and helpful Unlike some Wan*ers in London shops
- Try Mayhem between the market and the back of Marks and Spencer for your skate stuff-along with all your surfing and most importantly snowboarding needs catered for. Plus the staff are extremely helpful and have great taste in hair dye.
- Mayhem, On the corner of the market near Marks And Sparks. SPIT ON THOSE KAPPA SLAPPERS!
