Anybody know the name of the childrens home on road to naezing just outside PB. I was there in 1959 but cant remember.Did anyone go there. Went to Mount Grace school whilst there. There was Chequers Mead on Coopers Lane Road, Northaw Place on Coopers Lane Northaw, and Brownlows which I think was on The Ridgeway but not too sure. There was also St Nicholas House for boys which was definitely on The Ridgeway. Hope this helps. Reply

Well, what a surprise, nothing much has changed in the Potters since my time in the 70s, lack of facils for young people still the modus operandi. Someone once told me Genesis played Elm Court Yoof Club in 1972 - that says it all! We used to escape to LOndon to see Adam and the Ants, Joy Division even the Arsenal, gord bless them.
