My mother in law was evacuated to Houghton le spring in the second world war and recently revisited the town, but said it had changed so much and would like these books to remind her of what it was like. Thank you.

Houghton Grammar 1970 to 1975 by Stephen Ross (Member 10215643) on 24-Oct-2007
I went to Houghton Grammar from 1970 to 1975. It would be nice to hear from others who were at the school starting 1970 until 1975 or even 1976/7 if they were staying on for 6th form. I didn't as I left at Easter 1975 to join the Royal Navy.
