A teacher from LHS - circa 1970 by Brendan O'Connell (Member 237089) on 24-Jan-08
Does anybody remember a teacher called Mr. Duncan who used to dish out essays as a punishment? I vividly remember writing about "A day in the life of the inside of a ping pong ball" If anybody knows his whereabouts, I could do with getting in touch with him. By the way, I'm not great at remembering names, but if anybody out there remembers mine, then please get in contact..

What a great idea. Ive signed up and with a few like minded people we could do it. Being able to buy and manage our own soccer team from the lower league, picking the team every week and watching our dreams come true.

There is a chapter on the airfield in a book called 'Leicestershire Airfields in the Second World War' by Martyn Chorlton. Amazon sell it but the library may be a cheaper option!
