The DBA scene is so 'cliquey' To Join in is ever so tricky; Without personalised plates You'll be having no mates, Gosh their heads are ever so dicky. Landlord and landlady like swearing And their pals are so overbearing; Their boorish guffaws Send us straight for the doors Have they reached the point of not caring?

| Searching for half brother | by Marsha Highfield (Member 35271) on 3-Jul-01 |
|
I am searching for my half brother who would be approx. 56 - 57 yrs old now. During WWll, 1943 - 44, my father, Robert " Gordon" Cole , was stationed at Aldershot as a gunnary instructor with the Canadian Armored Corps. While there he would go into London on his leaves and whether it was there or in Aldershot, he met a love, her name was possibly Emma, although we are not positive on this name. We can only hope >>more

| speed bumps | by Paul Hurford (Member 18700) on 5-Feb-01 |

Some people want speed bumps on Main Street. Why? I'd rather Peter Mandelson bought out the Post Office. Speed bumps are harmful to both cars and people. Especially when people don't know they're there. This is Dunton, not Coventry.

| Are you ready to lay the RACKDOWN! | by Paul Hurford (Member 18700) on 12-Oct-00 |

Damn those 7am starters Gairy 2 Hairy and Grandmaster Gaz (2 Foolz, collectively). Hulk Hurford and Adam 'The Machine' Pickering were raring to go and kick some green-aproned ass at the latest RACKDOWN to be held at the Denbigh in Lutterworth. Looks like 2 Foolz and Yeomans haven't got the guts to turn up to the Midweek Main Event. You just wait til ThistleMania VI, Fluke Gair. | it's THISTLEMANIA VI this weekend | by thecosmictrigger (Member 17652) on 11-Oct-00 |
|
The excitement literally is starting as Hill, Williams, Gair, Archer, Boulter, Hurford, Pickering and long term absentee Blackburn do battle for the title of THISTLEMANIA GRAND CHAMPION. Jon Archer currently holds on to it, but will supreme champion Gaz Williams steal his thunder this time round, or will the returning Andrew 'Rog' Blackburn make an awesome comeback, or prehaps Adam 'The Machine' Pickering will finally live up to his own hype. Soon we will know. 15102000:21:00
