Re my last post, I don't know any more about my grandparents, but with some digging I have come up with "Cocks' barrows" Waterloo Road Camberwell. Aparently, according to a cousin in England, these are still in existence. Any info would be greatfully appreciated, and even better, if I could get an email address

I attended Gloucester Grove Primary from 1953 til 1958. The only names I can rember are Vivienne Harvey and little Ethel Johnson. Music teacher was Miss Elland, who used to make Pipes from Bamboo sticks, my Mother made a carrying bag with a draw string. Any one else from that time?

my grandparents by Patricia Burgess (Member 235981) on 6-Jan-08
I am trying to find our more about my grandparents, Walter Herbert Caddock and Clara Augusta Caddock. Walter had a street of stalls, fish, fruit and veg etc. would have been the mid 1950's. We moved to NZ in 1952, and as far as I know, he was still going then. We lived in flats in Stockwell Park Road, and I was born in St Georges Way

Further to my last post, talking to my mum today, grandmother's maiden name was Clara Augusta Cocks, so would be interested in following that lead also.

What a great idea. Its only £39 a share so I have taken a punt. I've signed up and with a few like minded people we could do it. Being able to buy and manage our own team and pick the team every week and watch our dreams come true sounds great to me.
