Trying to find an old school chum last met @ school in Ireland mid 1960 s I stayed at his house in Bollington when we were quaranteened during the foot and mouth outbreak around 1964/65 if my memory serves me correct I believe that he had an older sister named Bernice. Does anyone know what happened to the Whisper Restaurant in Bollington? Has it changed its name or closed down all together? Used to go there a lot before moving out of the area (25 years ago). I proposed to the wife there, and would like to go back for a visit.

I just wanted to say something about the tossers that find it amusing to tamper with vehicles whilst walking home through this area - I AM GOING TO STOP YOU! You have been warned - this has gone on for long enough and I am in the process of consulting Cheshire Constabulary Licensing Unit as late licences are NOT very acceptable anymore! If you want to act the dickhead and toss about then go into Macclesfield instead - they have CCTV. >>more

I felt a few home truths were due about a minority of individuals who go to spoil the otherwise relative 'peace' of this area. Firstly, parking - NEVER expect some people to give you enough space to park your vehicle and do not expect them to move a few feet if asked - too much fucking trouble that!
