I am looking for suitable links for the website of the Beaufort Brewery Arts Centre Project (a planned arts centre for Wootton Bassett and surrounding district). If you are an arts practitioner (ie: you do something like the list in my title), send me your url (website address) for inclusion on our information website www.freewebs.com/beaufortvision (if you don't have a website, you can build a free one on www.freewebs.com or use www.orange.co.uk, internet member centre, free web builder).

New to WB.. by struth (Member 202430) on 22-May-06
Hi, I recently moved to WB to be nearer b/friend. Said b/friend then dumped me as 'he has issues' and 'cant handle a relationship', leaving me on my tod in a place I dont know, no job (well, just started one today), no friends in area and well, I could go on, but dont want to sound tooooo pathetic! So, how can I get out and meet new peeps? I enjoy the outdoors, cycling, walking, beer, wine, gigs, for starters, only >>more

Hello new neighbour! Shame about the drama queen boyfriend. My suggestions are: 1 - to meet other folk, look at the clubs and societies list in the back of the local Community magazine (delivered through doors quarterly, or pick up from council offices/churches etc)- there's something for practically everyone; and 2 - As you enjoy the outdoors, get the local Ordnance Survey explorer map no.169 and a good compass. There are lots of rights of way locally that you'd never discover >>more

Hi I have also recently moved to the area with my husband and are looking to meet people in the local area as my husband is out at work all day and I am home alone (still looking for a new job). If you can suggest any clubs you may have tried that I could join it would be much appreciated.
