Lovers Walk houses/residents by Brenda MacCulloch (Member 50862) on 5-Jul-02
Hi, Am looking for anyone who remembers the houses (and any of the residents) in Lovers Walk in Birmingham. They have since been demolished and the name has been given to a pathway opp. the railway station for the football grounds. In particular looking for LAMBERT folk. Thanks Brenda.

  • Re: Lovers Walk houses/residents by Craig A. Dickens (Member 84270) on 22-May-04
Lamberts? My mother's maiden name was Lambert - born and raised in Small Heath on Malmsbury road. I've few (but vivid) recollections of Birmingham, having been in the USA for over twenty years... for what it's worth.

It's a long time since I was in Balsall, but I went to Balsall Junior School from 1964 - 1969 and to Kenilworth Grammar 1969 - 1976. Messages from anyone who remembers me or any of the rest of the Howard family are welcome!

My husband thinks he remembers you. Did you have shoulder length hair and spectacles? He recalls a man of sporting prowess who managed to put a cricket ball through the downstairs bathroom window, whilst bowling! Could this be you?
