Fancy owning a football club? by Jack Pott (Member 212784) on 26-Nov-07
Fancy part owning a real English professional football club from the lower leagues and then being a football God and being able to select the manager and the team ? Copy and paste this address into your browser and find out the whole story..... http://www.thepeoplesclub.com

  • Re: Fancy owning a football club? by Simon Hewett (Member 232425) on 26-Nov-07
Now, thats not exactly true. You get 1 share in the club, a non-League Club. Everyone who own a share, gets a vote in team selection and formation, the "Coach" will take the consensus pick and set the team up accordingly. I think it's 75 pounds a share.

  • Re: Fancy owning a football club? by Dani Sacco (Member 129226) on 7-Dec-07
What a great notion. Its £39 a share actually not £75. Ive signed up and with a few like minded people we could do it. I've gone for Grays. Being able to buy and manage our own team and pick the team every week and watch our dreams come true sounds great to me.

Give them Curry you say by bruce smith (Member 42329) on 13-Oct-07
Its seem sthats all England can give anyone anymore is curry. Not just on the dining table. I see there are lots of expatts who still regard themselves as being "English" well if you dont live there and have not lived there for more than 10 years you cant call yourself "English" that awfull cockney accent may follow you everywhere, and folks say " what part of England do you come from"You may be in contact of go for a quick >>more

I hope that I have caused some of you to wake up and talk about something interesting. You may or may not agree with me on the suject of Nationality. But you know I am right. WE have lots of ex Brits here, who still cal themselves " English" They say" I 'll always be English"Well the answer is " No" You should give your loyalty to the country that has kept you and sheltered you for all those years.

  • Re: Give them Curry you say by dave (Member 228853) on 14-Oct-07
in new york when i speak in my cockney accent i am always asked are you australian ? i reply " god no" , they just cannot tell the difference . let us have our moment of glory in the rugby we don't often win , it was widely reported in our papers that after the match the australian fans in paris started to sing "I`D RATHER BE A PAKKI THAN A POM", bearing that in mind i am not suprissed >>more

Yes Dave sadly, our accent comes from a combination of accents, including the cockney one. Werte stuck with it. I used to know this cockney, he was a bad example of cockneys, as he used to bludge off anyone he could. He was on the dole. He was on my staff when I first started in business. He was very jealous of our succes. I am giving you a moment of glory as well dave. I always speak the truth. So >>more

  • Re: Give them Curry you say by Simon Hewett (Member 232425) on 22-Oct-07
What a big pile of Bollocks. Your address does not define your nationality. You can live abroad and be English till the day you die. What an idiotic post.

    Here Here old Chap.!

  • Re: Give them Curry you say by J Leppard (Member 232794) on 30-Oct-07
Absolutely. I ahve lived abroad on several occasions and have never considered myself anything other than English. Nationality is not where you live, but where your loyalities and roots are. Actually, if you look at many in England today, they are highly un-English!

  • Re: Give them Curry you say by bruce smith (Member 42329) on 4-Nov-07
Thats is my point exactly. You want the best of both worlds. We have many people in Australia whos loyalties lie here. They would defend our proud nation. We welcome everyone who come here and dont feel we owe them anything. The two morons , S. H and J. L are precisely what i am talking about. This is why you have so much trouble with people from all over the world. Its your aragance. you have the stiff upper lip, >>more

  • Re: Give them Curry you say by bruce smith (Member 42329) on 4-Nov-07
Dave, I do not include you in my comments. you could all learn from him. In Australia a lot of Pomms have a name, we call them Whinging Pomms. They live here and complain about just how much better the food tastes in England, and how hot it is. The list goes on and on. At least when we go overseas, we enjoy ourselves. We love a beer and a BBQ.Sorry old chaps. Keep laying concrete

Freedom of speach is a wonderful thing, even when it allows people like you bruce, to spout your loutish drivel. Keep going though, it's making me laugh. You obviously have issues though, not least your minimal IQ.

  • Re: Give them Curry you say by bruce smith (Member 42329) on 9-Nov-07
I dont wish to hit below the belt Simmone, but as you have chosen to do so. I can only add that your daddys IQ must have been low as well in order for him to shag your mum.you were the result Now if you wish to continue with out of order crap, I can too

Anyway. I hear England is going down the gurgler as they say and that curry is the most popular dinner served on Christmas day. I am sure there are a few turkeys running around, and not just on the playing field trying to regain some of that fighting spirit that used to shine whenever the pomms were playing sport.
