looking for Allison by Carlo B (Member 227395) on 17-Jan-08
She was from Hornchurch in 1983, the last time I saw her, and she worked for Ford. She would be about 43 years old now, probably married, tall blonde. She had 1 sister who was younger than her. I've been looking for her since 83. If you think you may know her, email me at ceb123_1998@yahoo.com

What a great idea. Its only £39 a share so I have taken a punt. I've signed up and with a few like minded people we could do it. Being able to buy and manage our own team and pick the team every week and watch our dreams come true sounds great to me.

Pub in Hackey by eddie terry (Member 86584) on 28-Mar-07
I wonder if any older residents of Hackney can remember a pub called "The Dew Dragon" (maybe not the correct spelling) As a Teenager during the 50s we used to travel up from Canvey Island Essex every Sunday morning to see the lunch time show put on by a group of female impersonators. I have checked on the pub list for Hackney and cannot find it. Has it been pulled down or renamed Eddie

I never visited the pub myself but I know it existed mainly because I listen to Eric Hall on a Sunday afternoon 2pm - 6pm, BBC radio Essex and he has talked about it with his listeners that call in. Strangely enough I lived in Hackney and moved to Canvey when I got married. Pat

Hi, We used to go to the Deuragon in Hackney in the 60s. It was a great venue with disco dancers and we used to follow a band that performed there called 'Wishing Well'. They usually played at another great pub called the Bridge House at Canning Town. That's gone now though. Happy days! Diana

Druscovich/Kelly by Hana (Member 159881) on 3-Feb-07
Hi There does anyone remember the Druscovich family also known as Kelly?

  • Re: Druscovich/Kelly by marion george (Member 227621) on 16-Jul-07
I think that must be my family you are talking about, some of us are in Canada and some are in U.K. Of the Kelly's are only known as Kelly's now and not Druscovich's, my mum was Rose Kelly (Druscovich). Is there any particular person you remember? Marion
