Re: Fancy owning a football club? by Dani Sacco (Member 129226) on 7-Dec-07
This sounds like a great idea, and it could work. Imagine being able to select the team every week. We could do a great job. I've signed up and one of the things the website lets you do is select the team you think the fans should buy - and I have gone for Torquay, so lets hope that becomes the most popular choice.

Hi' I went looking for the Devon Coast Country Club while I was in Paignton a couple of months ago, it seems to be gone and the people I asked couldn't even remember it. We spent many happy holidays there around 1970 - 1980. Does anyone remember "Uncle Rory" the childrens entertainer?, my kids loved him. Happy memories indeed.

Do you remember the scrambles on the last night and the fancy hat competitions - I won that once ! At 9pm, they used to do the conga >>more
