  To be fair, farmers returning home from the RWS don't usually get shot (you'd have plenty of time to take aim), nor is the UK on the brink of an all-out farmer war... there are some specific biker-based threats out there at the moment so I'm hoping it wasn't a decision taken lightly.

They started playing a game of football in the middle of the street but the cops hadn't yet closed the street off.
