| You can take the girl from the city... | by B (Member 186213) on 14-Nov-05 |
Can you help? I am embarking on a trip of a lifetime to Binham with three friends. It seems like a very pleasant place and will make a nice change from the heavy smog of London. However you can take the girl from the city, but you can't take the city from the girl. Where are the best places to go on a weekend? What is the best pub? Where can we force our lame karaoke abilities onto unsuspecting locals? Where >>more

A Grandfather's Plea From the Past I am not sure who you may be or where you might be living, I can only assume that if you are reading this you have some interest in family history and thats good because of the pickle that my ggggrandaughters Pam and Brenda, have found themselves in when trying to find out where I came from, who my parents were and if I had any brothers and sisters. | Haves or Hayes Lane, Fakenham | by Jim Haves (Member 151318) on 19-Oct-04 |
Can anyone confirm that Haves Lane actually exists or did exist. In the on-line directories just released by University of Leicester I have found 2 seperate references to this place. However on Multimap.com I can only find Hayes Lane. Has the name been changed? Or is there just a mistake.

| Long lost friend | by Ian Hovey (Member 150364) on 6-Oct-04 |
Janice Park, formerly Janice Morrell, is looking for a friend that worked at the Crisp Factory in Long Buckby in Northamptonshire around about the late 60s - early 70s. Her name was Andrea, and her husband worked at the Ford Factory nearby. She originally came from Fakenham and I wonder if she has any relatives still in Fakenham?? Would love to get in touch with her and revive a 30 year gap.
